I really like my Float desk stand. (I used my own wooden desktop.) It adjusts easily and precisely. I have only two complaints: First, I have 5 monitors to support, so I'm just a little over the weight limit. Higher capacity would be a plus. Second, the poorly advertised "heavy duty" option gives more upward force when the desk is down than when it is up, so raising and lowering the desk is easy, but not effortless.
This desk is awesome and really nice! It doesn't move when leaned on and it is rock-solid. It also does hight-adjustment which is really nice!
Got this for the family desk. Tall people & short people. Works for everyone and changes quickly. We'll buy another one soon.
I purchased the Float desk and keyboard system and could not be more pleased. The height can be adjusted to your liking, and lowering/raising it is very easy and smooth. I purchased everything when I moved to Brooklyn about 6 months ago and so far everything has held up as expected. Highly recommended!
The tension adjustment on the table level adjustment lever is easy to adjust. The lever is also very functional
not as comfortable while sitting. surface often appears dirty
We have 4 of these in our office. Since getting it, I spend about 80% of my day standing now and even have clients requesting to stand instead of sit. I have an electric table at home but I much prefer the float.
The float base makes moving from standing to sitting as easy as standing and sitting. Not only easy to use, but easy to assemble. Would highly recommend this product!
This is the PERFECT design for this class of table. One handed manipulation, and beautiful materials. My only gripe was the bolt alignment when assembling. There was that ONE, troublesome bolt that would not ride smoothly into the bolt-channel when attaching the feet to the base. I debated for some time whether to return the product but instead decided to muscle the bolt in, since I would not be disassembling and reassembling the table on a frequent basis. Ever since then, I've been happy with all aspects of the table—affordability, design, performance, and versatility.
